My name is Gabrielle. I’m 30 years old, living in Chicago with my wonderful husband and our spirited two-year-old daughter. Ever since I was a child, I’ve felt a deep connection to reading and writing. I used to spend hours crafting short stories in my bedroom, excited to share each one with my mom. That creative spark has stayed with me, and even today, I find myself completely absorbed in both reading and writing—which is why I decided to start this book blog.

I’ve always had a strong love for English and Language Arts, excelling in both throughout my school years. When I started college, I knew I wanted to pursue a writing-focused career, though I wasn’t sure which direction to take. I initially majored in Journalism but quickly realized it didn’t align with my passions. Seeking stability, I shifted to a business major, all while continuing to find ways to stay close to literature. One of the most inspiring experiences during that time was a study abroad program in England, where I explored the homes and histories of some of the world’s most iconic authors. Seeing those stories come to life was unforgettable.

Although my professional journey began in a different industry, reading and writing have always remained close to my heart. Eventually, I found the courage to return to what I’ve always loved. Now, I’m fully embracing the path I was meant to follow— reading books, writing with purpose, creativity, and a renewed sense of passion.
